The IAH-Kobe University Graduate School of Health Sciences Collaboration at the Energa University

The second International Activity for Health (IAH) Network for Cervical Cancer Prevention Conference was held at the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) Library in Lucena City last March 30, 2009. The network was presented by the Cancer Institute Foundation, Inc. (CIF) for the Cervical Cancer Prevention Network (CECAP), MSEUF, the KOBE International Health Cooperation, Office of the Congressman of Quezon District I, Asia and Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AOFOG), and SM City Lucena.

Dr. Cecilia Ladines-Llave, the director of CECAP, presented the network's program and proposed to pilot implementing the incorporating the single visit approach (SVA) module into the undergraduate nursing curriculum. Dr. Hiroya Matsuo, a Professor of Kobe University Graduate School of Health Sciences, introduced the Kobe International Health Cooperation Proposal to the participants and guests and put forward a deal with the university regarding research. Ms. Evelyn Abeja, representative to Congressman Mark Enverga, promised to help support this project in his behalf.
