AAI Collaboration with CIF for CI The Asia America Initiative (AAI) is a humanitarian and educational organization in support of the peace process to include enhancing quality of life, providing opportunities for men and women and providing alternatives to conflict has embarked on a Cancer Treatment for the Poor program by providing medicine to underserved cancer victims. Dr. Betty Mancao arranged with CI Chair for the donations to be provided for the indigent CI patients. The CIF shall receive donations of medicines from AAI and will distribute the medicines for the patients of Cancer Institute in coordination with the Medical Social Service Division of the Institute and the Department of Pharmacy in line with the UP-PGH policies and guidelines in accepting and distributing donations. The AAI, in coordination with the US National Cancer Coalition, International Relief and Development and the San Miguel Rotary Club will provide donations of medicines to the Cancer Institute Foundation for the use of underserved patients in the Cancer Institute of Philippine General Hospital, University of the Philippines-Manila.
